One Little Indian

The OLI-US imprint has been busy with signings and tour dates. The label is the European home of Bjork. She will continue to tour Europe highlighted by a performance at Denmark's Roskilde Festival. She will then return on North America beginning with a show at the Virgen Festival in Toronto, Canada. OLI-UK will digitally release Earth Intruders Club Remixes, a five track EP featuring remixes of "Earth Intruders."

The label also announced the signing of Michael McDermott. His careers highlights include his critically acclaimed Gethesmane release in 1994, and two tracks featured in the Vin Diesel flick Knockaround Guys. His latest release is entitled Noise From Words. McDermott can currently be seen performing throughout the Midwest. He will also sing the National Anthem at Wrigley Field on June 26th.

Finally, OLI will issue the latest from Sweden's Surrounded entitled the nautilus years on June 5th in digital format only. The band has been described as being influenced by Pink Floyd's Meddle, along with The Flaming Lips and Built to Spill.

Surrounded are most likely the best band in Sweden at the moment. If you have the chance to see them live...Take it. It will be a night to remember.
